National City Equity Partners (NCEP) is a Cleveland, Ohio-based private equity firm with approximately $1 billion of capital under management. NCEP has been active in private equity for more than a quarter of a century. Founded in 1979, NCEP is one of the oldest bank-affiliated private equity groups in the United States.

NCEP typically structures investments in the form of subordinated debt, preferred equity and common equity. Our firm invests both in partnership with other private equity firms and as the sole institutional investor with management and business owners. In addition to our direct principal investing, NCEP makes investments of $5 million to $20 million in independent private equity funds.
